This is a fully funded Youth Guarantee course which will provide you the opportunity to complete NCEA Level 1 while gaining knowledge and skills to pathway you into your chosen Level 2 course, or we can help you to look for a job.
We offer this course for youth from our sites at Tauranga (CBD), Mount Maunganui, Rotorua and Whakatane.
If you are 15 years or older, left or leaving school, then we can help you get your NZQA qualifications for free.

Enrol in Careers Unlimited to:
- Achieve the NZ Certificate in Foundation Skills Level 1 & your NCEA Level 1

- Study with other youth, make friends and support each other to make plans for your future

What qualification will I get?
Graduates will receive the “New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 1)”. All of your 60 credits will also go towards your NCEA Level 1.

This course is for those aged between 16 and 24. (This is a Youth Guarantee Programme).
You are also eligible for this course if you are 15 years old with a MoE Early Leaving Exemption (ELX). EmployNZ is part of this process so we will support you through the ELX process
