With an enthusiasm for all things sport and a love for rugby league, Dre French was keen to join the CareerFIT health & fitness course. And now just a few months in, Dre is making massive gains towards turning his life around.
“I was mucking around a bit, and getting up to things I knew I shouldn’t be doing. I knew if I stayed on the path I was on; I’d be heading for jail. My fitness has improved heaps and I’m back playing league now” Dre explains. And with regular attendance and a positive and willing attitude, Dre has continued to make positive changes in his life.
Dre is grateful to the tutors for their teaching style and the atmosphere they create in class. “They’re patient. They’ll sit with you and explain things properly. And they make it fun,” he says.
