If you want to keep physically active and energised while you study towards your NCEA Level 2, our CareerFit course is for you. Work out using our gym equipment, play sports and exercise in the great recreational spaces around our campus while learning about coaching and leading sports teams.

This is a fully funded Youth Guarantee course offered at our Mount Maunganui and Rotorua delivery sites.

What is the start date, timetable and course duration?

    • You can start any time
  • Timetable:
    • 8:30am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Course duration:
    • 20 weeks if you already have NCEA Level 1
    • 26 weeks if you don’t have NCEA Level 1 yet
What are the costs?

This course is free. It is fully funded by the government Youth Guarantee fund,for those who meet the eligiblity criteria which we can discuss with you.

We are focused on school leavers who are aged 15 years to 19 years of age who want to plan a pathway to employment or higher training.

Are there any prerequisites?

Ideally you would have achieved your NCEA Level 1 or your Literacy & Numeracy credits for NCEA but we can discuss this at your interview.
